Jim is Ellis's
writing partner, co-author of The
Peeper.
He's great to work with as long as they stay off politics. Each writes
some of the characters and their voices, but they go back and forth on
everything. Jim's 40 years in law enforcement provided accurate police procedures and much of the crime. He was Chief of Staff of the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) and has worked in Vice, Homicide, and Counterterrorism. The man is a legend in SC.
